I am reccomending DUAL BOOT COMPUTERS with C++ compilers on BOTH Microsoft Windows AND LINUX XWINDOWS so both operating systems will support education and compete with each other and both improve so students will benefit. ... should I run into any unforseen software issues. The XP installation is on another pc so I can take the drive out of it ( all drives are SATA if that matters) and add it to my new one. How to force Vista Boot Menu
Say I boot into 98, and then choose the "restart in DOS mode" option that it gives you - will this DOS mode (version 7 I think) run all old DOS games? If you are going to dual boot, why bother with Win98? Why not just dual boot between DOS6.22 (for games up to about 1995/6) and XP (for everything since)?

Dual Boot problem
I dual boot XP and Vista and have downloaded Windows Live Mail for use with both. Not only does Outlook Express have those tabs, so does the stock Windows Mail that ships with Vista. Just to clarify: The Edit/Source/Preview tabs are not visible by default in Outlook Express, you have to turn them on.

If you do not see Vista in the large window, then you do not have a boot loader set for it. In that case select "Add New OS entry" Type the OS name (Vista) then select the type (Vista) and then the boot letter in your case it's E. The click apply updates. You should now have 2 OS boot options.

On this new Intel motherboard I have installed Kubuntu dual boot, went back to XP Pro to check the E-mail, and went to boot from a CD finding the Bios boot order changed to put the CD on the bottom of the list, or ignore it with it on top.
